Ana Walshe

Missing: Mother-of-Three Vanishes on New Year’s Day, Police Urge Public to ‘Keep an Eye Out’

Massachusetts police in Cohasset are searching for a missing woman who hasn’t been seen since New Year’s Day.

According to NBC Boston, 39-year-old Ana Walshe was last seen on January 1 inside her Cohasset home a little after midnight. Friends say she was supposed to catch a morning flight to Washington, D.C., for her job, but it’s unclear if she made it to the flight.

During a Friday morning press conference, Cohasset police said she’s had no footprints on social media or electronic transactions since she vanished. Although she was reported to have possibly taken a ride share to the airport, it’s unclear if that ever happened.

“We cannot confirm an actual flight,” police said, adding that there are holdups with airport information due to numerous flight cancellations and other issues.

Walshe is described as a white female who stands 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 115 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes, and an olive complexion.

Anyone with information on Walshe’s whereabouts should call Cohasset police at 781-383-1055 EXT. 6108 or email hschmidt@cohassetpolice.com.
