Jasmine Host: Alabama Woman Still Missing Nearly Six Years Later

Alabama authorities are searching for a missing Gadsden woman who hasn’t been seen in nearly six years.

According to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, 29-year-old Jasmine Amorette-Nicole Calloway Host was last seen on September 16, 2017, at a home at 801 Noccalula Drive in Gadsden. Host lived in the home with her husband, Mark Host, and housemate, Rachel Sears, along with multiple young children.

The household was reportedly in the process of moving to Dawson Springs, Kentucky, when Jasmine vanished. Sears reportedly told police that when she got up on the morning they were supposed to move, Jasmine Host was not at home and didn’t tell anyone that she was leaving.

The Gadsden Times reports that in 2021, both Sears and Mark Host were arrested in Dawson Springs on multiple charges of alleged sexual abuse. So far, no one has been arrested or named publicly as a suspect in Jasmine’s disappearance but her relationship with her husband was said to have been “volatile.”

Jasmine is described as a Black female who stands 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighs around 145 pounds.

Anyone with information about Jasmine is urged to call Gadsden police or CrimeStoppers using the 24-hour tip line at 215-STOP (7867) or 1-833-AL1-STOP.
