O.J. Simpson Says Alex Murdaugh ‘Likely did it’ But Could Get Away with Murder

O.J. Simpson said Thursday on Twitter that Alex Murdaugh “likely did it” as closing arguments continue in the South Carolina murder trial.

“I gotta admit, when he took the stand- a guy who’s a habitual liar- I did watch,” Simpson said, admitting that he doesn’t know why people have asked him to comment on the case.

Simpson said that although Murdaugh is probably guilty of murder, in his opinion, he doesn’t know if he’ll actually face a murder conviction. He also claimed Murdaugh was probably trying to relate the jurors as one of the “good ole’ boys” in hopes of them reaching a “not guilty” verdict.

“I do think this guy more than likely did it,” he continued, adding it wouldn’t surprise him if Murdaugh “beats this case.”

“But once again, more than likely- to me- is tantamount to reasonable doubt.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Murdaugh is currently on trial in Colleton County, accused of killing his wife, Maggie, and son, Paul, and possessing weapons during the commission of a violent crime.

In 2022, he pleaded not guilty. Check back for updates.
