Alex Murdaugh now sits in a jail cell, after being convicted of killing his wife Maggie and son Paul, but what does that actually look like?

Murdaugh’s attorneys have filed an appeal of his conviction.  In the meantime, the “shoulda, coulda, woulda” theories are floating around about what would have been the outcome if Alex Murdaugh had not taken the stand.
