Missing Mom and Three Young Daughters Disappear After Calling Family About Flat Tire

Police are searching for an Oregon woman who was reported missing last month after contacting her mother about a flat tire.

According to ABC 9, Stephanie Ortiz, 35, was last seen on April 26 with her three daughters. All of the children are reportedly under the age of 10. She called her mother that day while in a blue minivan and said she had a flat tire. They haven’t heard from her since.

Family members said it’s unusual for Ortiz to go this long without contacting them.

Court records, according to ABC 9, indicate that Ortiz’s former boyfriend was recently released from jail after an arrest for domestic violence against Ortiz.

It’s unclear what Ortiz was last seen wearing and the children’s descriptions are not yet available.

Anyone with information regarding Ortiz’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Springfield Police Department or the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at (541) 682-4150.

This is a developing story and will be updated as additional information becomes available. Check back for updates.
