Missing Ohio Woman Expected to Face Charges After Vanishing, Stealing Truck: Police

Ohio police announced that they’ll be filing charges against a missing woman found this week in Butler County.

According to the Butler Eagle, 20-year-old Sarah Hopkins was discovered in Winfield Township early Monday morning, and police determined that she had stolen a pickup truck from a nearby garage. Police located Hopkins inside the truck on Monday evening.

The Cambridge Police Department previously listed Hopkins as “missing and endangered.” State police now said Hopkins took the truck from an area where a search for her had been taking place.

State Police reportedly said that charges are “forthcoming.”
