Missing Teen Girl Reportedly Shot & Kidnapped from Car at California Park

California police are searching for a 19-year-old woman last seen Sunday in Los Angeles County, following a reported shooting at a park in Whittier.

According to KTLA 5, Andrea Vasquez was last seen sitting in a car with a male when someone armed fired at their vehicle at Penn Park, which is around 20 miles south of Los Angeles. The reported shooting happened a little after midnight on Sunday.

Family members reportedly said she was in the car with her boyfriend, who told police he fled the scene but when he returned, Vasquez was gone.

“An adult male witness reported that while at the park with an adult female companion, an armed suspect approached their vehicle and fired a weapon in their direction,” Whittier police said in a statement.

“He later returned and saw that his female companion that he was with there at the park was missing and that there was an amount of blood on the floor.”

Relative Emily Martinez told Fox News Digital that Vasquez’s last phone ping came from the Moreno Valley area, around 50 miles east of Whittier Park.

“She’ll be with us soon, I know she will. If you have her, please, please just bring her home. I don’t want to know anything. I don’t have any questions for the person, nothing. I just want her home,” Martinez said.

Martinez is described as standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 103 pounds. She was last seen wearing khaki pants, black Converse shoes, and a black long-sleeve crop top. She also has a belly button piercing, her sister’s name, Edylyn, tattooed on the back of her neck and an Aries constellation tattoo on her right hand.
