FOUND SAFE: Police Need Assistance in Locating Missing 11-year-old Missouri Boy

The Springfield Police Department said Friday that Tydus Vang has been found safe. No additional information has been provided.

Initial Coverage

The Springfield Police Department in Missouri issued an endangered person advisory Friday for an 11-year-old boy, last seen on Thursday.

According to Springfield police, Tydus Vang left his home in the 4500 block of S. Graystone in Springfield, at around 7:40 p.m. on January 11. Police haven’t said why he left the residence.

Tydus is described as an Asian male who stands 4 feet tall and weighs around 50 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue and white Nike hooded sweatshirt, a gray Nike shirt, black pants, and white Nike shoes.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call 911 or call the Springfield Police Department at 417-862-7911.
