Britney Spears Mental Health Crisis at Chateau Marmont, Barefoot, Wrapped in Blanket, Surrounded by EMTs

Concerns over Britney Spears’ mental health arose at the Chateau Marmont on Thursday, with photos capturing the barefoot star wrapped in a blanket while being escorted out to emergency services.

According to DailyMail, Spears, 42, whose recent behavior was described as “completely dysfunctional,” was spotted clad in her underwear, holding a pillow, and appearing distressed as she exited the Hollywood hotel.

Spears reportedly was seen with abrasions on her knees and seemed to be topless while her former boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, and security guards surrounded her. Officers reportedly arrived at the hotel at around 11:30 p.m. and left without making any arrests.

CNN reports that Spears’ representatives said she is now “home and safe” after she had a “major fight” with Soliz. She left with her security team Wednesday night, according to the representatives, and without Soliz.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that Spears was not taken to a hospital following the incident.

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Spears was seen was heard screaming and appeared to be “out of control” in the hallway by her suite. Guests who witnessed the incident thought the singer was experiencing a mental breakdown, prompting the paramedics to arrive.
