BOLO: Two Colorado Girls, Both 13, Vanish During School Basketball Game

Police in Colorado are searching for two children who vanished from a basketball game in Elbert Monday night.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, Eva and Neillily, both 13, were last seen leaving the Elbert School at 24489 Main Street off Elbert Road, at around 5 p.m.

Both girls are members of the Colorado Springs School basketball team, KRDO reports.

Elbert County Undersheriff Dave Fisher said both girls had on their basketball clothing, blue shorts and hoodies. They both had backpacks.

“The two girls were at the away basketball game and then disappeared, and authorities were notified immediately and began a search that includes teams, dogs and drones,” the school’s communications and marketing director told 11 News.

Police began searching around the school, within a 5-mile radius, but have been unable to find the girls. They’re expected to resume the search Tuesday. The Elbert School will be closed for the day as the search continues.

Anyone who sees the girls is urged to contact 911.
