A 14-year-old North Carolina boy has been found safe, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said.
“The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office extends its sincere gratitude to the hundreds of law enforcement officers and search and rescue personnel from across the state, and particularly to the FBI, for their around-the-clock assistance,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook.
No additional information is available at this time.

The FBI Charlotte announced Thursday that agents are working with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina to help locate a missing 14-year-old boy.
According to FOX 8, he was last seen Wednesday at his home in Gideon, off Watermoss Drive, at around 4 p.m., in the Amity Hill community, near Triplett Road.
His description and last known clothing haven’t been provided, but authorities are reportedly using drones and canine units to assist in the search.
