Police in Alabama are trying to establish a timeline in connection with the disappearance of an Enterprise toddler.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Genises Nova Reid was last seen at an apartment at 201 Apache Drive, in Enterprise.

Enterprise police said Genises “may be just about to turn three.”

The child’s mother, Adrienne Reid, said she discoveted Genises missing early Monday morrning, and noticed a door had been opened.

Neighbors said they have not seen her since early January, WFSA reports. Prior to January, they reportedly saw Genesis many times, while out on walks with her mother.

Police are now asking anyone who saw her over the past month to come forward, while they seek assistance in finding a woman named “Mariah,” who is possibly connected to the case.

According to WFTV News 4, Mariah has been known to “frequent the Level Plains area.” She’s described as a Black female who has ties to Ozark, Enterprise Police Chief Michael Moore said.

“We’re not necessarily saying she’s been missing for 30 days but we’re trying to clarify, trying to a get a timeline,” Enterprise Police Capt. Billy Haglund said of Genises.

“We are trying to leave no stone unturned. Unfortunately, we want results now, but it does take time to get these things.”

“We want nothing more than to find Genises unharmed.”

Multiple sources reportedly said that law enforcement is questioning the mother; she claimed that Genesis “disappeared mysteriously” from the bedroom.

Adrienne Reid has not been charged but police detained for safety reasons.

During a search Sunday, FBI agents arrived on the scene for assistance.

“I don’t care what state, what county, please call the police. She was not given willingly. Please contact us via messenger, Facebook, whatever. Please contact me,” her grandmother,Vivienne Reid, told News 4.

Genesis is described as a Black female who stands 2 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 25 pounds. She has black hair, and brown eyes.

Police said she had on pink Mickey Mouse pajamas at the time of her disappearance.
