Sebastian Rogers: FBI Offers $50K Reward, Autistic TN Boy Missing for 2 Years

The FBI has announced a reward of up to $50,000 Thursday, marking two years since the disappearance of Tennessee teen, Sebastian Rogers.

Sebastian, who would now be 17, disappeared February 26, 2024, from his home in Hendersonville. Family members said he’s autistic and left home barefoot and without his medication or phone.

The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office said this week that the investigation remains open, and that they are following “every credible lead,” with the assistance of the FBI and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), WSMV 4 reports.

Sheriff Eric Craddock added that despited reported rumors, Sebastian has not been removed from a missing persons database.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Sebastian lived with his mother and stepfather, Katie and Chris Brownfoot, at a home on Stafford Court, at the time of his disappearance.

Chris Proudfoot previously told “Crime Stories” host Nancy Grace that he had been almost four hours away in Memphis, working on a construction project at St. Jude, when Sebastian disappeared.

Katie Proudfoot said she and Sebastian were at home when he vanished at some point after he went to bed.

It was a normal night,” Katie told FOX 17 last year. “That was the last time I saw my son… when he went to bed.”

The following morning, she noticed him missing, and despite massive searches. tips, an AMBER Alert and a TBI Endangered Child Alert, there have been no credible sightings of the teen.

“I have thought every single day, night… Every possibility of something that could have happened to him, where he could have gone. If he had gone with someone. If someone took him willingly, unwillingly. If he ran away and got lost. A million different things, and unfortunately, I don’t know,” Katie added.
