‘Captain Jack Sparrow’ accused of breaking into friend’s home and fighting police

A Knoxville, Tennessee, man is accused of breaking into a friend’s home while dressed as a pirate.

WATE reported that Brian Zielinski—who also goes by “Captain Jack Sparrow”—was arrested over the weekend on burglary and resisting arrest charges. Sequatchie County Jail Captain Justin Higdon said Zielinski was wearing a black pirate hat, a black vest, brown jacket, and red gloves and boots when he was taken into custody.

Officers said the 28-year-old was staying with friends but they kicked him out for acting odd. He allegedly refused to leave at first, prompting his friends to call the police.

At one point, Zielinski allegedly reentered the residence through a downstairs window and became combative. Authorities claimed that they had to taze Zielinski to arrest him, according to WDEF.

The local station noted that the suspect is a member of the Hells Angels and is originally from California.
