Texas woman allegedly tried to mow down driver, pepper spray 4-year-old in road rage incident

A San Antonio, Texas, woman is accused of trying to run a man over and pepper spray his family after the driver honked at her.

MySA reported that April Michelle Flores, 33, was at an intersection when the light turned green and the driver behind her honked. The man alleged Flores smashed into his car as he passed into the next lane.

The man claimed he stopped on a side street when Flores tried to pin him between her car and his as he went to confront her.

The victim avoided being run over by jumping on top of Flores’ car. Flores allegedly backed up and tried to run him over a second time, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

The alleged attack didn’t end there, however. As the man, whose car was disabled, waited for help, Flores then tried to pepper spray the man’s brother and his 4-year-old nephew who he was holding at the time. Fortunately, the brother was able to turn away and avoid the spray.

The victim’s father, who remembered Flores’ license plate number, reportedly saw her driving in the neighborhood later the same day and called the police. Officers caught up with the 33-year-old at a gas station.

The man supposedly fractured a bone in his right hand in connection with the incident.

Flores was arrested on Wednesday and charged with felony drug possession and deadly conduct, a misdemeanor. She was released from Bexar County Jail after posting a $15,000 bond.
