Conrad Hilton released: Paris Hilton’s brother out on $90k bail, family want him to enter psychiatric hospital

Conrad Hilton was reportedly released from a Los Angeles jail on Thursday following his arrest for stealing a Bentley and violating a restraining order.

Hilton, 23, was released from the Twin Towers Correctional Facility a week after a judge ordered him to post $90,000 bail. Hilton was placed in his father’s custody.

Robert Shapiro, the hotel heir’s lawyer, told TMZ earlier this month that he planned to ask the judge to only let his client out if he agreed to undergo treatment. Shapiro, who called Hilton’s behavior “bizarre and unusual,” requested Hilton be sent to The Menninger Clinic in Houston, Texas.

As Crime Online previously reported, Hilton is accused of stealing Rick Salomon’s Bentley before attempting to break into E.G. Daily’s Hollywood Hills home early on May 6. Salomon and Daily, who were once married, are the parents of Hunter Daily Salomon, Hilton’s ex-girlfriend.

The 23-year-old was reportedly trying to reach Hunter—who got a restraining order against him in May 2015—on the night in question.

Hilton was subsequently charged with grand theft auto and violating a restraining order. The evaluation request follows Hilton’s court hearing outburst. TMZ reported that the troubled socialite was heard saying, “So f***ing gay” during a hearing for the restraining order charge. A day later, he supposedly continued his erratic rant, yelling, “I got assaulted! Objection!” after a prosecutor alleged he was profane to police.

Video obtained by the tabloid caught Hilton accusing arresting officers of groping him amid a homophobic rant.

“I’m Conrad motherf***ing Hilton, don’t you forget it,” he was heard yelling at police.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney said Hilton is facing up to four years behind bars if convicted of felony auto theft.
