Reality television star Farrah Abraham was arrested at The Beverly Hills Hotel Tuesday night after she got into a physical altercation with a security guard, according to reports.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ reported that Abraham, 27, had gotten into a fight with a group of guests, prompting the security guard to ask her to leave the hotel. The “Teen Mom” alum allegedly struck the employee in the face with her forearm, pulled his ear, and pushed his head as he tried to keep her from reentering the building.
The guard suffered only minor injuries. TMZ reports that Abraham was booked into jail at 1:48 a.m. (PST) and charged with battery and trespassing. She’s reportedly being held on $500 bond.
Sources told the outlet alcohol may have played a role in the altercation, and said that Abraham had been loudly flaunting her celebrity, reportedly yelling things like “you should know who I am.”
According to OK! Magazine, the reality star’s Instagram stories showed her at the hotel earlier in the day with her 9-year-old daughter, Sophia.
“We can confirm there was an incident involving a patron in the Polo Lounge this morning. As this is an ongoing investigation with the Beverly Hills Police Department, we are unable to provide any further comment at this time,” The Beverly Hills Hotel said in a statement issued to Radar Online.
Sources told the tabloid that Abraham remains in custody. A court date was reportedly scheduled for June 15.
