BREAKING: Singer Demi Lovato rushed to hospital following alleged heroin overdose

Pop singer Demi Lovato was reportedly hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after suffering an apparent heroin overdose.

Sources told TMZ that Lovato, 25, was transported to the hospital from a home in the Hollywood Hills. Her condition is unknown at this point in time.

Lovato had just performed Sunday at California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles with rapper Iggy Azalea. Sources also said the singer had been struggling as of late.

Lovato has been candid about her battle with addiction. This summer, the 25-year-old released the song “Sober,” which detailed her previous issues with addiction and hinted at her possibly relapsing.

In Lovato’s 2017 YouTube documentary “Simply Complicated,” the singer revealed her struggles with an eating disorder and a drug addiction that began at age 17. She also claimed that she first entered rehab in 2010.

“I wasn’t ready to get sober. I was sneaking it on planes, sneaking it in bathrooms, sneaking it throughout the night,” Lovato said during the documentary.
