A Georgia man who Tased his 1-year-old daughter and 5-month-old son, in addition to his battering ex-girlfriend and her great-grandmother, was sentenced for his crimes on Wednesday.
Per The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Antonio Maurice Gee, 21, was sentenced to life plus 192 years for December 7, 2016, attack that transpired after he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s Mableton home. Gee had two felony convictions for threats and stalking his ex-girlfriend and was ordered to stay away from her residence.
Gee battered the woman’s great-grandmother, breaking her jaw, before stabbing her in the face. The elder required facial reconstruction as a result, according to the outlet.
Prosecutors said then Gee set his sights on his toddler daughter. The ex-girlfriend suffered cuts defending their daughter against Gee—who knocked out his ex’s teeth before using a Taser on her and their two children.
Gee also stole the women’s car keys, phones, and credit cards following the attack. He was taken into custody after a three-hour standoff that required SWAT intervention, the newspaper reported.
A two-day trial resulted in a jury convicting Gee of all 16 counts, including, armed robbery, burglary, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, aggravated stalking, false imprisonment, and cruelty to children.
“But for the grace of God and the Cobb County Police, this would have been a murder—vicious, vile and savage,” Chief Assistant District Attorney John Melvin said.
“I am thankful to the jury and to Judge Green for ensuring that this animal never sees the light of day as a free man again.”
