Grandmother in custody after toddler girl is stabbed, baked in oven: Police

The grandmother of a 20-month-old girl is in custody after Mississippi deputies reportedly found the toddler’s body in an oven, with stab wounds.

The Clarion Ledger reported that the toddler girl’s body was taken to a crime lab to undergo an autopsy. The grandmother’s identity is unknown at this point in time as she hasn’t been formally charged with a crime.

According to WREG, Bolivar County Sheriff Kelvin Williams told reporters that the woman will face some sort of murder charge.
