Casey Anthony’s dad is in ‘incapacitating’ condition after SUV rolls over in fiery crash: Report

George Anthony, father of the notorious Casey Anthony, was in a serious car crash on Saturday in Florida, which reportedly left him with debilitating injuries.

NBC2 reports that Anthony was driving on Interstate 4 in Volusia County when he lost control of his 1999 Toyota 4-Runner and swerved off of the right side of the highway, near the State Road 44 and U.S. Highway 92 exit. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Anthony’s SUV flipped several times, crossed three lanes and halted at a median.

First responders rushed Anthony to the Halifax Medical Center. A trooper who responded to the incident said the man’s injuries were “incapacitating.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Anthony had a strained relationship with his daughter after her 2011 trial, when she was acquitted for the murder of her own daughter, 2-year-old Caylee Anthony. In 2017, George Anthony said his relationship with Casey Anthony had turned non-existent, and he warned her to stay away from him.

“Stay away. Stay away from me. If she wants a relationship again with her mom, she’s got a lot of explaining to do, but I don’t want to hear it no more. I don’t want to see her.”
