SEE IT: Cops release photos of clothing Shanann Watts was wearing when her body was found in shallow grave

Authorities in Colorado released a series of photos depicting the clothes Shanann Watts was buried in after her husband allegedly killed her and dumped her body in a shallow grave.

As photos obtained by the UK Daily Mail show, she was dressed in a bra, panties and a short-sleeved shirt.

In the last known image of her alive, Watts was wearing a different shirt than the one depicted in evidence images.

Police believe she was murdered shortly after arriving home from a business trip in August.

She was reportedly pregnant at the time of her death. Her husband, Chris Watts, was soon arrested on suspicion of killing her and their two young daughters.

As CrimeOnline has previously reported, Shanann and Chris Watts had a strained relationship prior to the homicides.

In addition to suspecting her husband was having an affair, Shanann had also reportedly revealed heightened tensions between her and her in-laws in the weeks leading up to her death.

The police photos showing the clothes Shanann Watts was buried in were not the only images made public this week.

CrimeOnline shared photos taken of a shirtless Chris Watts on the day of his arrest.

The Weld County District Attorney’s Office released those photos near the time Watts was reportedly transferred to an out-of-state prison “for his own safety,” according to a source cited by People.

He is serving multiple life sentences without parole following his murder convictions.
