R. Kelly investigated AGAIN for new claims he had sex with 13-year-old girl and gave her HERPES

Singer R. Kelly is reportedly under investigation in Michigan following claims that he had sex with a 13-year-old girl and gave her herpes during the illicit four-year relationship.

Sources told WBBM that authorities are looking into allegations that Kelly, 52, “engaged in sexual intercourse at an undisclosed hotel” with a 13-year-old girl in Detroit in December 2001. Sources said the girl was visiting her mother when she reached out to a friend who was Kelly’s assistant.

Sources reportedly said Kelly and the underage girl engaged in sexual activity at Kelly’s recording studio weeks after the initial hotel encounter. WBBM reported that the girl visited Kelly at his Atlanta home over the course of four years, where she accused Kelly of giving her herpes when she was 17.

Authorities reportedly plan to fly the victim, now 30, to Michigan for an interview, as she no longer lives in the state. Detroit Police Chief James Craig confirmed to the station that they wish to speak with the alleged victim.

The news comes weeks after the “I Wish” singer was jailed in Cook County, Illinois, on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving four victims — three who were underage at the time of the allegations. Out on bail, he was arrested again on Wednesday afternoon for nonpayment of $161,000 in child support.

Entertainment Tonight reported that Kelly will remain jailed until he pays the full $160,000 he owes to his second ex-wife, Andrea Lee. The pair share three children: Joann, 21, Jay, 19, and Robert, 17.

Kelly’s publicist said the judge rejected his offer to pay $50,000 to $60,000 and enter a payment plan.

“He was disappointed. He felt rejected. He was down. You could see the air go out of him. He never expected that. He was never looking forward to that. He never knew that was coming,” the publicist said.

Kelly’s next court date is scheduled for March 13.
