A worker reportedly found Bustos body near a fence. Detectives told KTLA that she was found lying face-down in some bushes and it’s unclear how long she had been there before she was discovered Monday.

Citing Los Angeles police, KNBC reported that National Retail Systems, a company located near where her body was found, is in the process of accessing surveillance footage.

Bustos mother said the 15-year-old was last spotted in a white Jeep with two young men. Authorities haven’t disclosed a cause of death or identified any suspects in this case.
