A New York woman reportedly wrecked and totaled her car Wednesday after noticing a spider inside the vehicle with her.
The unidentified woman was driving on Silver Spur Road in Cairo when the crash occurred. Local police wrote on Facebook that the woman noticed a spider in the driver’s area when she lost control of her car and crashed, injuring her leg.
It’s unclear whether the spider was ever found.
“We know that it is easier for some drivers than others but PLEASE, try to teach new drivers and yourselves to overcome the fear and pull over to a safe place,” the police department wrote. “Lives depend on it.”
