Girlfriend beats amputee boyfriend with his own prosthetic leg after he mentions breaking up: Reports

A Louisana woman allegedly battered her boyfriend with his prosthetic leg after he expressed that he wanted to end their relationship.

According to NOLA.com, Michelle Jackson, 58, was jailed on aggravated battery charges Wednesday for a February 11 attack on her ex-boyfriend. Police said Jackson and the 59-year-old victim had an on-and-off relationship for six years when he mentioned breaking up with her and dating another woman.

The news outlet reported that the pair were drinking gin when the admission and subsequent beating occurred. The victim had gone to sleep at Jackson’s home at 11 p.m., only for one of Jackson’s relatives to wake him up at 1 a.m. He came to and reportedly discovered he was covered in blood, had a sizable laceration on his head, and had suffered a swollen right finger.

Jackson allegedly told a relative that she used her boyfriend’s prosthetic leg and beat him with it. Police Captain Jason Rivarde said she also claimed to have stabbed her boyfriend, though he didn’t have any stab wounds, according to WVUE.

Jackson had reportedly fled before police arrived as she thought she killed her boyfriend. On Wednesday, U.S. Marshals found Jackson at her home and took her into custody. She remains jailed at Jefferson Parish Correctional Center without bond.
