Police officer delivers lunch to class of boy who gave him Easter dinner

A young Virginia boy reportedly gave a police officer Easter dinner, leading the officer to return the gesture to him and his classmates days later.

According to a Facebook post by the Newport News Police Department, a boy named Jeremiah delivered the dinner to officer Beganovic and his partner while they patrolled his neighborhood last Sunday night. Jeremiah said his mother told him to do it because “when you do nice things for other people that good things will come back and happen to you.”

The police department wrote in the post that Beganovic came to Jeremiah’s school Friday and delivered Chick-Fil-A to him and his entire class in addition to giving the boy a ‘Thank You’ card.

The post said, “That chance encounter has grown into a beautiful friendship!”

A BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP! As some of you may have seen on Easter a young man named Jeremiah gave food to Officer…
