[UPDATE: FOUND SAFE] AMBER ALERT: Toddler girl possibly in grave danger after dad allegedly abducts her from home

Authorities in Texas have issued an AMBER Alert for a 2-year-old girl who they said could be in grave and immediate danger after being abducted from her mother’s apartment.

Ariel Smith reportedly vanished from Henderson on Tuesday. Local police have identified her father, LaMarcus Smith, 41, as a suspect in the apparent abduction.

According to KTRK, Ariel was described as being 2 feet, 1 inches tall, weighing 39 pounds, wth black braided hair, brown eyes, and a two-inch scar on the right side of her neck. She was reportedly last seen wearing a white t-shirt.

LaMarcus is 6 feet tall, weighing 180 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo on his chest and right arm. He was reportedly wearing a t-shirt and blue jeans. KLTV reported that he is known to drive a red 2011 GMC pickup with Texas Disabled Veteran license plates DV9SLM.
