Authorities in Arkansas are searching for two inmates who reportedly escaped from a county detention facility early Thursday and remain on the run.
According to KATV, Jason Michael Brown, 31, and Geronimo Espericueta, 47, were discovered missing from the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility at 2:13 a.m. Officials suspect the pair escaped via a bathroom ceiling, which they possibly crawled through before getting to the jail’s roof.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported that Brown was booked on April 27 on aggravated robbery, burglary, and theft charges while Espericueta has been held on drug charges since March 27.
Authorities said tracking dogs are assisting in their ongoing search. KLRT reported that both men have ties to White County.
