Jenelle Evans: Ex-‘Teen Mom’ star & husband continue fight for custody of 3 kids after dog shooting controversy

Former “Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans reportedly appeared in a North Carolina custody court Friday, after losing custody of her children amid allegations that her husband fatally shot the family.

Radar Online reports that Evans, 27, and David Eason, 31, appeared for their third pre-adjudication hearing, where Child Protective Services is arguing their case against the couple. Eason’s daughter from a previous relationship, Maryssa, 11, reportedly testified during the last two hearings.

“She just told the truth of the things she witnessed and was exposed to,” an insider exclusively told the news outlet. “She might speak during the disposition hearings too.”

In late May, Evans lost custody of her three children, Kaiser, 4, Jace, 9, and Ensley, 2, after a judge determined her home posed a credible risk. The children were removed from the home after Eason allegedly shot and killed their French bulldog because the dog bit their toddler daughter.

According to reports, Kaiser is staying with his father, Nathan, and Jace and Ensley were ordered to remain with Evans’ mother, Barbara. Radar reported that Eason’s son, Kaden, is in his mother’s custody and Eason is no longer seeking custody of Maryssa.

TMZ reported that Eason and Evans reunited with the three children on Thursday as Barbara brought Jace and Ensley to the courthouse and Nathan arrived with Jace. The outlet reported that the couple is currently allowed to see their children while under the supervision of a court-ordered monitor.
