Owner of disabled children’s camp accused of sexually assaulting 9-year-old girl

A Texas man who owns a horse therapy farm for children with learning disabilities was arrested on Wednesday amid accusations that he sexually abused a 9-year-old girl.

The city of El Paso announced in a statement that Sensory Ranch owner Homero Baeza-Licon, 65, was arrested at the ranch and charged with aggravated sexual assault. The victim is believed to be a girl who was being tutored at the ranch, and had informed her mother of the alleged abuse.

Authorities said the ranch offers “tutoring, and occupational and speech therapy for children with learning disabilities.” The ranch also provides recreational activities for the children, including a petting zoo and horse rides, according to the El Paso Times.
