UFC fighter Walt Harris begs for missing daughter’s safe return

UFC heavyweight fighter Walt Harris is asking for the public’s help in locating his stepdaughter who was reported missing in Alabama on Thursday.

Harris, 36, reached out via Twitter and Instagram to ask for information regarding Aniah Blanchard’s whereabouts. Blanchard, 19, who lives in Auburn, had last talked to a friend just before midnight on Wednesday.

Blanchard is a Southern Union State Community College Student who is from Homewood. On Friday, her vehicle—a black 2017 Honda CR-V with an Alabama tag number 49BS356—was found damaged at an apartment complex in Montgomery, according to ABC News.

Despite the discovery of her vehicle, authorities said there is still no sign of Blanchard. In addition to asking for his stepdaughter’s safe return, Harris, 36, said on Instagram on Monday that the family has not solicited for money in connection with the ongoing search efforts.

Blanchard was described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 125 pounds, and having brown eyes and brown hair. Police said she was last seen wearing a black dress, tan duck boots, and black stockings.

Anyone with information regarding Blanchard’s whereabouts, or an accident involving her vehicle, is urged to contact the Auburn Police Division Detective Section at 334-501-3140 or the anonymous tip line at 334-246-1391.
