Police in Elkhart, Indiana, are looking for a man driving a late model GMC Safari van who allegedly tried to kidnap two children while their mother was washing her car at a car wash, WSBT reported.

The man was described as between 60- and 70-years-old with a gray beard and pock marks on his face. As he pulled up next to the mom’s vehicle in his late 1990s tan van, he held out an arm. holding candy in his hand, and spoke with the children, an 8-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy.

He drove away when the mother yelled at him.
