BREAKING: Body of second missing boy pulled from icy Chicopee River

The search for a missing boy in Massachusetts has ended in tragedy after rescue crews found his body in the Chicopee River on Tuesday, Western Mass News reports.

Two boys, ages 10 and 11, were reported missing on Saturday when they went to play in the woods in Chicopee near the river and did not return home. One of the boys, who reportedly lived in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was pulled from the water later that day but died in a hospital.

According to WCVB, Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni said in a statement that the boys were cousins.

Authorities have not yet released the boys’ names.
