DEVELOPING: Infant boy at center of AMBER Alert found dead in cemetery, mom in custody

A 6-month-old North Carolina boy whose disappearance on Thursday night sparked an AMBER Alert was reportedly found dead on Saturday morning at a cemetery.

WBTV reported that Chi-Liam Cody Brown-Erickson’s body was discovered at the Sharon Memorial Park cemetery in Charlotte at 4 a.m. The infant and his mother, Tamara Brown, 30, reportedly vanished from Matthews at around 10 p.m. on Thursday.

On Friday night, Brown was arrested in Charlotte and charged with common law robbery and assault on a government official. Authorities suggested Brown may suffer from a mental illness.
