AMBER Alert: SUV stolen with 4-year-old and 5-year-old in back seat

Police in the Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch are looking for two children who were in the back seat of a vehicle stolen Sunday afternoon.

Authorities issued an AMBER Alert for 4-year-old Princess Scarlett and 5-year-old Preston Scarlett, who were in a a burgundy 2017 GMC Terrain with Texas license plate HFL1525. The SUV’s front passenger side quarter panel is black and the front passenger side door is red.

Police said the vehicle’s owner was checking their mail outside the vehicle when the car thief jumped in and drove off. It’s known known if the thief knew the children were in the back seat.

Preston is described as 4 feet tall and 42 pounds with a mohawk hairstyle and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and black Nike shoes. He turns 6 this week.

Princess is 3 feet tall and 35 pounds with a cornrow hairstyle and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with a pink and green mermaid on it, blue jeans, and black and pink Nike shoes.

Farmers Branch police asked anyone with information to call 911 or the tip line at 972-919-1406.
