Infant girl dies with ‘suspicious’ injuries days shy of her first birthday: Police

An Indiana woman was arrested on neglect charges a day after Tuesday’s death of her 11-month-old daughter.

WRTV reported that Emmarie Pablo died shortly after being transported to a hospital in Elmwood. As of Thursday, her mother, Anna Pablo, 22, is facing preliminary charges in connection with her death.

Danielle Noone, the Madison County Coroner, said Emmarie Pablo’s death was “suspicious,” telling the Herald Bulletin that the toddler had unexplained injuries and bruising on her body.
