Two children were reportedly injured in an accidental shooting at a motel room on Monday night.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that a 1-year-old child at the Dalworth Inn got hold of a gun and it went off. Police said the bullet struck the child and fragmented, striking a 4-year-old boy in their lower body.

Both children were reportedly transported to the hospital in stable condition.

The Crimes Against Children Unit is investigating the incident. Police haven’t disclosed whether anyone is facing criminal charges in this case.
