MISSING: Mother abducts 2 sons from foster care, police say

Authorities in Delaware have asked for the public’s help in locating two foster children whose mother reportedly took them on Wednesday afternoon.

The Harrington Police Department said in a Facebook post that Shantel Knight, 26, took Anthony Rasin, 8, and Jermiah Knight, 6, from the area of Thorpe Street in Harrington. The mother was last seen driving a maroon SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Equinox.

Police said the boys are in the Division of Family Services’ foster program. It’s not immediately known why they are in foster care.
