A woman who was reported missing on Friday was found dead in her home the following day, and her husband has been arrested, the Maple Grove, Minnesota Police Department said.
Maria Fury, 28, was reported missing at about 6 p.m. by someone who said she had gone for a walk at about 11 a.m. and not returned. Police launched a search and asked property owners to check their own property.
A public search announced for Saturday morning was cancelled.
Joshua Fury, 28, was arrested for probable cause and is being held in the Hennepin County jail, according to jail records.
“As our family honors Maria’s memory, and the immense joy that she brought to us all, we encourage you to focus on all the positive in the world,” the statement said. “Love your babies as we loved our Maria. Thank you so much for your prayers and support.”
