MISSING: Frantic search underway for toddler boy who vanished at park

Authorities in Texas have shut down a park while they search for a 2-year-old boy who reportedly vanished Monday afternoon.

KWTX reported that Frankie Gonzalez disappeared at Pecan Bottom, near the restroom and splash pad areas of Cameron Park. At 3:40 p.m. the park was closed to the public as multiple agencies, including Waco police and Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife, search for the toddler.

In a Facebook post, Waco police further explained that Gonzalez was last seen near University Parks and Herring Ave under the bridge.

Gonzalez was wearing a red Mickey Mouse shirt at the time of his disappearance. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call the Waco Police Department at 254-750-7500.
