MISSING: Teen girl with heart condition hasn’t been seen in 11 days

A 17-year-old girl is missing from her South Carolina home, and North Charleston police have asked for help finding her, WCSC reports.

Amari Grant suffers from depression and a heart and lung condition, the station said, quoting a police report.

Amari was last seen by her mother on June 17 at about 8:40 p.m., police said.

She was upset about the death of a friend, according to the police report, and was trying to go to the funeral. She never received the funeral information, however.

Amari is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall with black hair and brown eyes.
