MISSING: 10-year-old boy may be in ‘severe emotional distress,’ police say

Police in Nevada are looking for a 10-year-old boy who reportedly vanished Saturday and may require medical attention.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said they’re searching for Darius Williams, who was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. Saturday near Twain Avenue and Cambridge Street. Additional details regarding Williams’ disappearance were not made available.

“He might possibly be in severe emotional distress and in need of medical assistance,” police said in an alert that called Williams “endangered.”

Willams was described as being 5 foot, 3 inches tall, weighing 77 pounds, and having brown eyes and black hair. He was reportedly last seen wearing a green shirt, black sweatpants, and black Nike shoes.
