MISSING: Teen boy goes skateboarding and doesn’t return home, cops say

Authorities in Michigan are asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old boy who vanished on Thursday afternoon.

Detroit police said in a Facebook post that Cortez Cooper Jr. was last seen around 4 p.m. in the 18500 block of Hubbell Street. The teen reportedly left home to skateboard and never returned.

Additional details surrounding Cooper’s disappearance were not made available.

Cooper was described as being 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 160 pounds. Police said he was last seen wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white Jordan gym shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Cortez Cooper Jr.’s whereabouts should call Detroit Police Twelfth Precinct’s Investigative Unit at 313-596-1240.
