MISSING: North Carolina girl went for a walk Friday, did not return

A 12-year-old girl was reported missing Friday from rural Davidson County, North Carolina, deputies say.

Ashlan Kaye Earley is described as about 5 feet 3 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes, and fair skin.

She wears circular glasses and has a light pink birthmark on the back of her neck, the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies said she was last seen wearing blue jeans, a teal or blue shirt, and black and white checkered Vans shoes and was carrying a black hoodie.

In a post on Facebook, Earley’s mother said that the girl went for a walk shortly before 8 p.m. Friday and did not return.

The sheriff’s office asks anyone with information to call 911 or 336-242-2105.
