Police suspect foul play in disappearance of former NFL player’s girlfriend [VIDEO]

A former NFL player’s girlfriend has been missing for more than a month after the two got into a violent fight at a house party, KTRK-TV reports.

Investigators are now assessing whether the woman, 29-year-old Taylor Pomaski, could be a victim of foul play.

Pomaski was last seen April 25 at her home in Spring, Texas, just outside of Houston, which she shares with her boyfriend, Kevin Ware, Jr., a former tight end for the San Francisco 49ers.

During a gathering at their residence that day, the pair reportedly got into a heated dispute.

“A fight broke out with [Ware] and Taylor, and, from what we understand, the fight got fairly violent,” Tim Miller of Texas EquuSearch, which helps find missing people, told KTRK-TV.

Ware is not cooperating with the investigation, sources told KTRK-TV, but police have not named anyone a person of interest.

Pomaski’s previous boyfriend, Eric Zuleger, told KTRK-TV that he believed her relationship with Ware was troubled and that she may have been abused.

“She was in danger, she was in trouble, there was violence,” Zulegar told the television station. “She referenced a gun being pulled on her. She was very scared, very nervous.”

In an interview with KHOU-TV, Zulegar said Pomaski “reached out to me many times throughout the month of April in various emails needing help.” He added: “We were talking about her getting out of there, getting back on her feet, getting herself set and stabilized.”

Zulegar said Pomaski is “a great, bubbly, bubbly woman and her parents and family and friends miss her a lot.”

Ware is a convicted felon who most recently was arrested on April 19, when police found guns and drugs in his vehicle. He was subsequently released on bond, according to KTRK-TV.

Homicide detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are exploring whether Pomaski is the victim of foul play.

“This certainly is in no way going to have a happy ending,” Miller told KTRK-TV.

Pomaski is white with blonde hair and blue eyes, and she has a mole above her left eyebrow and another mole on the left side of her nose. She is 5 feet and 2 inches tall and weighs between 90 and 105 pounds. Pomaski has a tattoo that reads “Infinity Serenity” on her hip.

Anyone with possible information about the case is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit at 713-755-7427, Texas EquuSearch at 281-309-9500 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
