Nonverbal 4-year-old boy found dead hours after he’s reported missing, police say

Police said a Maine boy was found dead hours after he was reported missing on Thursday.

The Press Herald reported that Sulaiman Muhiddin, 4, who was nonverbal, was found deceased following a search that involved four agencies, canine units, drones, and a plane. Officials have not yet disclosed where the boy was found.

Muhiddin was last seen near Pope Road in Windham, according to police.

Muhiddin’s cause of death has not been revealed, and it is not yet known if police are pursuing any suspects in his death.
