Missouri Man Faces 43 Child Sex Offense Charges, All With Same Child

Missouri law enforcement has arrested a 54-year-old man on 43 counts of first degree sex offenses, all them against a single child.

Last month, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office called in the State Highway Patrol to assist with an investigation involving allegations of statutory rape and child molestations against Roger A. Cupp. The investigation determied that Cupp had committed multiple sex offense against the child over a five year period, the highway patrol said.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Cupp’s home in Marceline on Friday, and troopers later found him in Brookfield about 10 miles away.

The Linn County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged Cupp with 11 counts of child molestation, 12 counts of statutory rap with a person under 14, 19 counts of statutory sodomy with a person under 14, and one county of attempted statutory rape with a person under 14.

He’s being held without bond in the Macon County Jail.
