A 5-year-old girl has died after she was reportedly discovered in a pool at an Illinois hotel on Tuesday.
WMAQ reported that Tabitha Shields was pronounced dead at a hospital an hour after she was found unresponsive in a pool at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel at Water Tower Place in Chicago.
Additional details surrounding her death were not provided by Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner, who made the announcement on Wednesday.
