Kamarie Holland: Mother Joins Alleged Killer ‘Friend’ Behind Bars for Abducted Daughter’s Death

A Georgia woman has been charged with murder in connection with the death of her 5-year-old daughter.

Kristy Siple, also referred to as Kristy Hoskins, was arrested in Alabama and charged with felony murder for the death of Kamarie Holland. She’s also been charged with human trafficking. The specifics around the arrest remain unclear but police previously said that Siple knew the other defendant in the case, although not romantically.

“Miss Hoskins stated that she searched the house, but could not find her, so she called police. Miss Hoskins then stated that she lives at the home alone, but gets visitation … allowed by the father Corey Holland.” police previously said.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Kamarie was last seen around Bowman Street in Columbus, Georgia, on December 13. Police labeled Kamarie as “critically missing” but no further details were released.

The following day, police confirmed that the child was found deceased at a home in Phenix, Alabama, where suspect Jeremy Tremaine Williams once lived. Fox 5 reports that Williams landed on police radar early on in the investigation. He’s now behind bars in connection with Kamarie’s death.

Police arrested Williams at an Alabama hotel, where he was reportedly visiting his uncle.

Williams is currently facing a capital murder charge but according to Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor, he’ll also be charged with rape and kidnapping. Taylor added that Kamarie appeared to have been sexually assaulted before she was asphyxiated.

Taylor added that Williams has been involved in numerous other child abuse cases and even another death investigation. In 2009, he was accused of abusing children while in Phenix but was acquitted three years later by a jury. A child abuse case out of Columbus then occurred, but the status of that case remains unclear.

Williams was also a suspect in connection with the death of a 1-year-old baby in Alaska. The charge against him was eventually dropped due to a lack of evidence.

Police added Wednesday morning that a gag order has been put in place in the case. Little details surrounding Siple’s arrest have been made publicly available. Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor’s agency is now leading the investigation.
